Uniper to Develop Large-Scale Hydrogen Storage Capacities in Germany by 2030

Uniper Energy Storage plans to develop salt caverns for the underground storage of hydrogen, aiming for a working capacity of 250 to 600 GWh by 2030 in northwest Germany. The company intends to expand existing sites and explore potential new sites along the planned hydrogen core network, which is currently undergoing detailed analysis.
